Engine detailing is a thorough cleaning of everything visible under the hood. Over time, engine bays accumulate grease, oil residue, road grime, dust, and general buildup from years of driving. Compressed air removes standing water from tight areas, wiring channels, and component gaps. Bay allowed to fully dry before any dressing is applied.

The Process
Pre-Clean Assessment
Andrew opens the hood and evaluates the level of buildup, identifies any visible leaks or concerns, and covers all sensitive electrical components and intakes before starting. Any concerns flagged to the customer before work begins.
Degreaser Application and Dwell
Degreaser applied across all surfaces. Heat-baked deposits get longer dwell time. The product needs to penetrate and break down baked-in contamination before agitation can move it effectively.
Agitation
Dedicated brushes worked through the entire bay. Firewall, strut towers, battery tray area, around the engine block, along hose and wiring runs, and into every accessible recess. The goal is to lift every accessible deposit before rinsing.
Rinse
Controlled low-pressure rinse removes dissolved contamination and degreaser. Water directed away from sensitive components. A second degreaser pass applied to any areas that did not fully clean on the first round.
Dry and Dress
Compressed air removes standing water from tight areas. Bay dried thoroughly before dressing begins. Protectant applied to all plastic and rubber surfaces. Final inspection to confirm everything is clean and all protective coverings removed.
